Citizenship Days

This fun and inspiring cross-curricula experience for Key Stages 1&2 can be tailored to your school’s specific requirements! From an assembly for the whole school to an interactive drama experience for every class in one day. Workshops are highly interactive including dynamic drama games, discussion and thought-provoking exercises to enable children to learn in a variety of interesting ways. Our Schools’ Citizenship Day works directly alongside the national Citizenship & PSHE curricula and the SEAL initiative!

Community Citizenship Day

Choose from one of the following 3 options…

RULES… Exploring what rules are, the different types of rules that exist in the home, school and community and how we can help shape these rules

ROLES… What is our personal role at home, school and in the community? Looking at how making choices are significant and the different responsibilities we play within community.

RELATIONSHIP… How can we relate to one another in our different relationships? Looking at the importance of respecting, forgiving and caring for one another and the affect this has on us, and those around us.

Also links perfectly with the RE day we offer on The 10 Commandments.

Identity Citizenship Day

Choose from one of the following 3 options…

WHO AM I? Helping us to understand our worth as individuals, and  to identify positives in ourselves and in the things which we do.

WHAT SHAPES ME? Looking at how various outside influences such as home, school and our community can affect how we behave. Where do we find our values and how can we resist bad pressures, such as peer pressure and bullying, in our lives?

WHO AM I TO BECOME? Exploring the importance of making positive choices and decisions in our lives and how to overcome difficulties. Recognising ambitions and learning to set ourselves goals for both now and the future.

  • Zacchaeus (Friendships/relationships)
  • David and Goliath (Self esteem)
  • Wise and foolish builders (Choices )

Performance Details

Who for? Groups of up to 35 pupils in Key Stage 1 or 2.

Where? School hall (or similar size space)

How long? Approx 45 mins with each class.

Cost? Assembly for the whole school on the topic covered: £95

Half day of workshops: £250       Full day of workshops: £350
