Who We Are
Rhema Resources has just been formed by husband and wife team, Mike and Becky Peacock. With 10 years experience of ‘bringing the Bible to life’ through sister company, Rhema Theatre Company, they want to take the material that has worked so well in churches and schools and enable others to use it. They also want to transfer the material to new media in order to bring the Bible to life to a greater possible audience. The couple are passionate about people reading their Bibles and connecting in a deep, rather than surface level with Christian issues and stories.
Since it’s formation, Rhema Theatre Company has performed to a million children and adults and have become hugely popular with churches, Christian festivals and Primary Schools. Rhema are regular performers at Spring Harvest and have their work regularly televised by UCB T.V.
Rhema’s Vision
“The spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…”
Isaiah 61v1
Rhema in Churches was formed to encourage Christians in their faith and see them released into greater freedom. By enacting the Bible with a timeless feel we want to show Bible characters and situations as real as us and ours today.
Rhema in Schools was formed to bring freedom to the Primary age-group by linking in with the RE, Citizenship and PSHE curricula. Through theatre Rhema seeks to help young people make good and right decisions in their lives and to proclaim ‘good news’ to these young lives.
Through Rhema Resources we are taking life-impacting stories to new places and releasing stories of hope to society today! The Bible has a huge amount to say about real life issues today.
We do need your support to do all that we do! So, how can you help? Well, click here to find out more!
